Sherwin Williams Does it Again for 2011

Whole Wheat • Sand Dune • Breaktime • Chartreuse

GENTLY MEDELY
fresh, airy, innocent

Can't you just see these gorgeous colors in your home?
Sherwin Williams does it again with their Color Forecast for 2011.

Like their colors weren't amazing enough, they have these upcoming trends that will sure to be a hit.
How will these colors look in your home?

Although this bedroom is shown in another one of my favorite colors, Rainwashed, the “Gently Medley” trend seems to continue with the unrestrained and oh so subtle feel of innocent hues that only nature can provide.

Tapping into the softness of youth yet strong enough to make a statement the color palette of Gently Medely is yet another thumbs up in my book of colors!

  1. I love Breaktime-- may have to find a room for that in my home!

  2. I'm finding this color wave very interesting. The soft, muted hues of Sherwin Williams are just flourishing here in Charlotte. It's interesting to see how the trends change. It makes me wonder though, do we force the trend by repeating ourselves or is it the real deal? Maybe a little of both!

Thank you for the comment :-)

  3. Sherwin Williams has put out some pretty colors, but that is the strangest looking Chartreuse I've ever seen.

  4. Thank you for such a great synopsis! I am a big fan of Sherwin Williams and love Whole Wheat! Thank you for really digging into what's out there! I love that the calm neutrals are so successful, and believe a lot of that is based on the economy: People can't handle intense color right now. Thanks again for putting this together!

  5. You're welcome. Color can go two different ways now; safe neutrals because we're not sure how to feel because of the economy or the opposite with defined hues towards 'feel good colors'.

    Thank you so much!
    Stop by again
