From the email box: Color Trend Nailed!

I love sharing emails once in a while. It's nice to know that some of the posts I write are helpful to you in some way. 

Here is one I just received about the color trend “Coral Reef” by Sherwin Williams. Not really a new color to me cause I've been talking about coral and salmon for - a - really - long - time! I'm not sure which blog post she was referring to (because there are so many) but it's out there :-)

Hi Donna, 
I found your blog 2 days ago because I was doing a search on salmon/coral paint colors.  I want to paint my study with an accent wall of coral and then light gray surround walls.  I want the room to have energy and yet be calm at the same time.  Plus, I'm going for a feeling of fresh.

So then...today I saw that Sherwin Williams 2015 color is Coral Reef! Um, you called that so long ago, and actually recommend that exact color! They should seriously hire you as their color expert.  Just wanted to share the excitement.  :)

I guess if you talk or write about one particular color for a long time it will eventually show up on the color wheel trend. The difference is, I write about colors for a very specific reason. Paint companies just choose one a year to shine an be noted. I guess it's all how you look at it.
