What Room Color Will Go With My Crazy Pillow?

So you were told to use an inspiration piece to start a color palette for your home right? That's fine but what if you chose a really crazy pillow with ton of colors in it? Which color should you choose?

My answer? Any of them! You chose the pillow for a reason and that reason is because you liked or possibly loved the colors right? Well then, pick up to three colors that you see in that pillow and start painting.

What you say? Go ahead, don't be a baby! You aren't going to get anywhere hesitating and wondering if you chose the right color. Think about this.

I just told boldly told you to just pick a color and start painting right? Doesn't sound like much though is going into your color choices right? Well yes and no.

Of course there is a 1,000 issues to think about before you choose a color and that's why I do for a living, I go through that list and when I do, the color I chose for you is chosen for a reason.

If you are going to choose your own colors, you don't have the list I have to help you decide on a color so just pick one.

Look at that green. It's really nice and actually, I have a very similar color in my bonus room. It's a great family, kid friend color to use for a playroom or bonus area where the kids are.

See the mauve? Yes  I know, you don't like mauve but get over it. It's a sexy color and would be great for a young lady's bedroom or a power room. Use it.

And of course the indigo we all know is already out in the market so that's a win-win. I've used this color a ton of times for dining rooms or for an office.
