Do You Remember the Decor from the Past?

I get emails from this company called The Vermont Country Store and I just love it. I don't buy anything from there but I like reminiscing as I flip through the decor of the past. I mean look at this, isn't this hysterical?
My Grandparents had these Old Fashioned Aluminum Tumblers and drinks were so very cold in these! Red was my favorite cup color.

And I think just about everyone's Grandparent had one of these fold up Bulova Travel alarm clocks. I was fascinated by the loud tick, tock, tick, tock at night as it lulled me to sleep.

And it may be antique sheik  today but I still think of Grandma when I see any damask chenille bedspread. I used to run my hands overs the top of the bed as the bumps would fly under my fingers - it was a strange sensations but it was fun.

Didn't just about every home have these hot rollers? I know I did! Plug them in and wait for the red dot at the end of the rollers to turn black before you rolled and burnt your tresses. Oh the things we did for beauty!

Were the tufted corduroy chair pads really comfortable? I always thought they were way too hard and bumpy to sit down for any length of time. I also got a kick out of hunting in the tufts. Every now and then when Mom did shake them out I'd find a nugget or two cereal remnants  from the past.

How many of these items do you remember? Go to The Vermont Country Store and see how many other lovely (sarcasm) decor finds you'll recognize. The clothes are humorous too!
