If I see any more Sherwin Williams “Model Home” colors I'm going to scream. There are so many gorgeous hues to choose from, let's think outside the box and get to the nitty gritty of really good color not just color that looks good in our home.
What are they? Here's a list:
- Retrained Gold
- Mannered Gold
- Whole Wheat
- Ecru
- Harmonic Tan
- Blonde
- Believable Buff
- Ivoire
- Netsuke
- Softer Tan
- Harmonic
- Universal Khaki
- Relaxed Khaki
- Favorite Tan
These colors are dated and found in most model homes because they are safe and go with most decors. You don't even have to think when you choose these colors for your home because they will match. That is why the “Color Specialists” in the paint stores hand them out so freely.
Do you want your home to look like a model home?
Yes and no. Yes because of course you want your home to be gorgeous but no, you don't want it to look like any other home on the street. Have you own creative color palette unique to you not your neighbors.

ReplyDeleteI'm so tired of Sherwin Williams colors to. Starting from page 10 right through at least 25 these colors have been beat to death.
DeleteAnother thing I'm finding, and I mentioned it in the blog, PEOPLE are tired of it to. They was brighter, cleaner colors not these hum drum, snoring safe colors.
