Do We Still Love Purple?

I remember not long a ago everywhere I clicked, looked and turned it was purple. Purple clothes, decor, fabric, rugs and of course paint. With blue and gray, you know, the coastal color mix, going berserk right now, do we still love purple? Where did it go?

Even I was on the purple craze there for a while. I suggested it for the Master Bedroom and of course for the kids rooms but now, it seems we shifted back to blue.

Just recently however, I did choose a dark purple-brown color for a Master Bathroom and it was gorgeous! It was dark, sultry and very cozy quite similar to this picture. Can you imagine this color in a bathroom at night while soaking in a tub surrounded by candles? Throw in your favorite glass or two of the wine of your choice and we're talking Hollywood here!

Why don't people use more of these colors in their homes?

I think it's because people are so strongly influenced by what they see in the stores, Pinterest, magazines and TV they they have tunnel vision when it comes to color. 

With all the colors out there, please keep your eyes and mind open for really, really amazing color palettes.

If you love the spa blue bathroom, think a little beyond Sea Salt and try a purple. It's a really pretty option.
