Do virtual color consultations really work?

Yes,  yes and yes! Virtual color consultations are a great way to get color for your home, save money and take advantage of professional color advice from a Color Specialist without stepping foot into your home. 

I started offering virtual color consultations about a year and a half ago and like any new service, it was a slow go until word go out that this is a great way to get color for your home. I know there were a few questions marks from my clients about my virtual consultations,  questions like:

• How can you choose color for my home without actually BEING in my home?
• How do you know what the color will look like in my home?
• What if I don't like the colors you send me?
• How long will this take?
• How do I get the information to you?
• Don't you need to see my style and decor to pick my colors?
• How much will this cost?
• How do I know YOU can do this for me?

The questions go on and on  - I've heard them all before. The main element to a successful color consultation is be careful who you hire. Look at credentials and years of experience. Look at blogs, websites, twitter and any other social media venue you can find.

• Are they professional? 
• Do they reblog all their color advice or actually write it?
• Do they have a ton of guest bloggers or is the color advice coming from  them?
• What colors do they write about the most? The typical “safe” colors?
• Do you see uniqueness in their writing and color choices?

If you are answering yes to these questions - than THAT is the person you should consider hiring for your virtual color consultations.

One of the reasons my virtual color consultations are so successful is that when my clients find out that I specialize in JUST color, they feel that they are in confident hands - and they are!
