Holistic Color Palettes for The Bedroom If You Have Health Issues

I'm still chatting about Holistic color for your home, after all, is there any other way to choose color?

Here are some suggestion for bedrooms. I choose these colors because they are what you'd want to FEEL when you're in the bedroom.

For example, this color, and not that it's more on the green side of blue, has a very calming feel. This color would be great for the young boy who perhaps has some ADHD issues and needs a little rest for his eyes.

A good yellow is really hard to find. Out of all the paint companies there are MAYBE a handful that I personally like. When it comes to yellow and health issues for either a child or adult, make sure it's soft and calming, like butter. We don't want this a high energy feel for the room.

Lavender. LOVE this color for the bedroom! I actually used it back in the day for my girl when she was little. It's a nice transition from nursery to toddler to young girl. As you see I have SOOTHING for this hue and it is!!!! I highly recommend this color also for the adult bedroom. We can all use a little extra calming at the end of a long work day.

Here I have another green. Notice I'm not using blue at all? When it comes to Holistic color for the home there are two hues that I usually don't use and it's blue and gray. Blue is a very pretty color but it just is a downer for so many people who have health issues. The same obviously goes for gray.

Depression issues? Go for this hue that is a combo of orange and yellow. It will give you the get up and go that you so need. When I lived in Pittsburgh for 16 years, I chose a gold color for my living room because the days were just so gray there and it was wearing on my. Trust me when I tell you this is an instant up lift for you well being.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this color! I used a similar color in my daughter's room when see was a teen. I think it was Guava Jam by Behr. Just an awesome, happy color when those high school years can be so very challenging. It's a happy hue for sure.

Now brown is great color to have in the home. I have it in an accent wall in my home. It's calming, grounding, cozy and very comforting. I have it by the tub in the Master bathroom. It just looks so comforting when the candles are on and the lights are dim. Guaranteed for a good nights sleep.

Pink is always a good choice for any health concern. I was never a fan until I painted my office a similar pink. I can't even describe the zen I feel when I look at pink. HIGHLY recommend it for any room of the home - you just have to convince Mr. about it :-)
