How To Keep The Colors In Your Home Classic

When we choose color for our home we look for classic colors yet colors that will still have a little flair of individualism. The Historic colors of Benjamin Moore are what we call “forever” colors but are they enough to hold onto that classic look or are they just too ordinary?

Here we have a great selection of neutrals that flow from beige right into the warm grays. These are great hues for foyers or kitchens that open up to other rooms.

As the grays turn towards green you can take the gray-green combo and use that for the living room or dining room area keeping in mind you already have the neutral beige in your foyer and kitchen.

The darker blues are great for accents, office or dining room color where stronger hues are the norm.

See how easy that was? Here's what it may look like [see graphic]. Here you have the neutrals that you can use anywhere in the home from trim to ceiling color. The green is what I call the transitional color from the light neutrals going into the accent colors. Then you have the blue accent colors that go with this palette and probably for just about everything in your home. This is why these colors are in the Historic Color Palette, because they are classic, likable colors for just about any home, any style.
