Granite and Color For Your Kitchen

Liberty Stone, Charlotte

You've just installed beautiful granite countertops in your kitchen. Now that you have new granite, the rest of your kitchen seems a bit drab. What to do? Paint. But what color?

As a Color Specialist in the South Charlotte area, I've chosen several of these color combinations and they are beautiful! There are so many color possibilities, I've selected some to get you started in the right direction.

Here are a few of the more popular granite color choices with a few Sherwin Williams colors that will look classic and beautiful.

  1. I have chosen colonial cream countertops with a toffee maple cabinet. I am having trouble picking floor and wall color. I have cream/white linoleum now and find that the same color tiles may make the countertop look yellow. Plus, I want to get a cream french country kitchen set. My kitchen flows into the family room where I have a nice red focal wall and a neutral beige wallpaper (that I don't want to have to change). Trim is princeton white. What do you think?
