As I was browsing the website of the Tile Collection located in Charlotte, I came across these three photographs that caught my eye. Of course I noticed the beautiful color that the rooms were painted but then it got me to think one step further. If these rooms are unique colors such as purple, gray or light blue, what colors would you pair up to their surrounding rooms?
Most of the homes here in south Charlotte do have open floor plans. It's always a challenge to choose the right colors for the other rooms in the house to complete the color palette. Which colors you would choose? Here are my picks.
The color on the left can be seen in the tile flooring and a peach is always a good neighbor to have next to any gray. |
Hues of blue, green and peach are always a beautiful combination. Keep them all soft and light. |
Gotta love those open floor plans … and the RIGHT colors.
Very interesting! We had a bit of a challenge in this house because it is so open..and you can see other rooms from the living area! And YES...my hubby painted a lighthouse on the wall in our kitchen! I've post pics before...but I'll post them again sometime! It's one of our favorite features now! ♥
ReplyDeleteDo you think the sherwin Williams accessible beige and thevsherwin Williams sea salt would be a great combo?
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think of the sherwin Williams accessible beige and the sherwin williams sea salt as a combination?
ReplyDeleteAccessible Beige is too yellow to be paired up with Sea Salt. I would rather see Sea Salt as the dominate hue at out the two. Is there another gray that you're considering? Keep it light and crisp so Sea Salt stands out more.
